Quagga : Commercial Home

The good news is that the commercial and industrial property industry has held its own through these difficult times.
The Western Cape in particular, when compared nationally and internationally, has afforded investors the best returns on rental income as well as capital gains. “Year after year we are breaking sales and leasing prices – taking them to new levels,” says Len Pears from Quagga Property Brokers.

For owner occupiers (someone needing a home for their business) buying does make good sense.
The reason for this is that you would have to pay rent anyway so rather pay off your own building and create your own retirement plan. Commercial and Industrial property rentals keep pace with inflation and more, therefore increasing year on year between 8% and 12%.

With interest rates having come down more than 4.5% this year already, properties have become even more profitable, and economists predict no interest rate increases in the foreseeable future.
