Two Prime Properties for Sale or Auction in Wynberg
Posted: 24th June 2009
So you have always wanted to enter the commercial property market, but have been scared off by the high property prices and interest rates, well now is your chance, prices are as low as they will ever be and economists predict that interest rates will continue their downward trend for the rest of the year. AND your chance to own either one or two prime properties in the heart of Wynberg is here. Both properties are under urgent liquidation of assets by the owner’s request.

The two separate properties are part of a group of 5 buildings owned by Master Butcher, Uli Heydt. Whilst the other 3 properties are not for auction, the owner will consider offers on them. The first property is a 200m2 cottage with storage facilities that would be great for a smaller distributor who requires office and storage facilities.

The second property is a double volume factory, suiting a manufacturer or distributor. The building is 258m2 and includes a 50m2 mezzanine level inside. Both properties are adjacent to the multi-story Grand Central apartment development that is nearing completion and will add an upmarket element to the area.

Since the inception of the Wynberg Improvement District, the suburb has seen a positive change and building clean up, and has been touted to become Southern Suburbs central very shortly AND definitely the place you want to have your business being seen.

"From the data and info available to us at present, we can see that the Commercial and Industrial market has very clearly reached a turning point that will soon see property prices on the rise. If you were to ask my advice I would definitely say that now is the time to get your foot into this market before the prices get caught in the upswing," says Len Pears, MD of Quagga Property Brokers (Pty) Ltd. "The Western Cape has proven through the decades to be one of the prime property investment areas in Southern Africa, always giving a consistent and first-class return on investment."

The auction of these two properties will be a joint venture between Remax Auction Centre and Quagga Property Brokers (Pty) Ltd, and promises to be the first of many top class properties that will be brought to the market in this fashion.

If you would like any additional info on the two properties mentioned above please contact either Stavro Michel at Remax Auction Centre on 083 6000 725 or Len Pears from Quagga Property Brokers (Pty) Ltd on 082 8282 858.
