Forest Reserve Set For Development
Posted: 24th August 2009
A small slice of heaven has become available for development in the beautiful Plettenberg Bay Valley. Forest Reserve, an 8, 1125 hectare piece of land with unbroken views of Robberg Beach, is now for sale for development through Quagga Property Brokers. "We are very proud to market this property and know that whatever development is built on this land will be the jewel of the Valley. Due to its location and setting we feel the land would ideally suit and up market retirement village or high end housing estate," says Len Pears, owner of Quagga Property Brokers.
Only 20% of the property will be used for the development with the balance to be planned around the natural stream running through the property with established nature walks, picnic spots and tranquil seating areas. The natural flora and fauna will be retained to keep the feeling as authentic as possible.
With its ideal weather, beautiful mountain and sea views and abundance of activities, Plettenberg Bay is still able to retain its small town feel but with all the luxuries of a bigger city. 'Plett' as it is affectionately called is known as the playground of the rich, and yet it is still possible to rent or purchase at a reasonable rate in this beautiful Garden Route town.
The area has its own airport, five minutes drive from the centre of town, and there are plans at present to upgrade this to an international standard. Plett is positioned perfectly to be able to visit all the tourist attractions on the Garden Route. There are lovely hotels in this area, one of them being the well known Beacon Isle Hotel which is built into the sea.
Fishing in the lagoon is very popular as is boardsailing and all other water sports. There are world class golf courses minutes away and the beautiful mountain walks are breathtaking. The area boasts ongoing festivals all year round and because of the idealistic weather is popular with overseas visitors. In a nutshell visiting Plett is like going to Mauritius only a lot cheaper.
All council requirements for the development have been approved and 24 hour security has been installed.
